Dr Zic wins impressively at Keeneland
In her first lifetime start Dr. Zic broke her maiden impressively at Keeneland Racetrack October 12.

The two year old Milwaukee Brew filly broke sharply from the outside post, and was able to angle in to the rail to set the pace. She lead the race every step of the way, finishing 2 1/4 lengths ahead of the field.

Dr. Zic earned $31,225 for owners Roger McDaniel of Derby Lane Farm, Jim Tom, Marette Farrell and Joan Scott. She paid $46.00 to win.

The chestnut filly was purchased at June OBS for $40,000 by Marette Farrell.

The impressive performance earned Dr. Zic the title Notable Maiden Winner in the Thoroughbred Daily News.
